Abstract
The Act amends the Georgia Business Corporation Code and the Professional Corporation Act by: establishing retention periods for original corporate documents filed with the Secretary of State and documents in microform; expanding grounds for revocation of corporate name reservations; redefining the term &"professional corporation&" to include foreign corporations; granting rule-making authority to the Secretary of State and removing the term &"ex-officio&" before the title of Corporation Commissioner.
